Equine Genetics & Genomics

Based in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney and located on the beautiful Camperdown campus near the heart of Sydney, Australia - this research group provides a friendly and supportive environment for the genetic exploration of all things horse.

The group is headed by Dr Brandon D Velie. Members of the group are researching a range of questions centred around equine athletic performance, behaviour, diseases & disorders, and genetic diversity.
